Erykah St. Louis is a digital storyteller and design thinker who helps organizations communicate complex ideas through authentic, human-centered stories.
She previously served as the first Digital Director for the State of Maryland under Governor Wes Moore, where she led groundbreaking digital communications work that helped modernize how the state connects with residents online. In this role, she built and guided the Governor’s digital presence, producing impactful video campaigns, expanding audience engagement, and shaping the visual and storytelling approach of the Moore administration’s digital brand.
Today, Erykah serves as Senior Advisor to Maryland’s Chief Data Officer, where she works at the intersection of data, public engagement, and digital communication—helping government teams translate complex data into stories people can understand and use.
A Canadian-American with Caribbean and Montréal roots, Erykah brings a multicultural lens to her work and believes that data often reveals the deeper story. With over 20 years of experience across government, international development, and the private sector, she blends design thinking, strategy, and deep listening to create meaningful connections between institutions and the communities they serve.
She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her son and enjoys music and nature walks in her free time.
